To install the Altera® software using a DVD ISO file, follow the instructions below appropriate to your OS:

• Windows
  1. Mount the DVD ISO file to appear like a DVD ROM on your Windows computer. Software packages to do this are widely available on the Internet for free.
  2. Install Altera software by referring to the instructions for installing from a DVD in Installing Software with the Altera Complete Design Suite.

• Linux
  1. Mount the DVD ISO file on your Linux computer by first creating a directory and then using the following command:

     mount –o loop <DVD ISO file> <directory>
