Why do I get an out-of-memory error in the C2H Compiler?

Environment

  • Nios® II Processor
  • BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
    Description

The C2H Compiler might generate an out-of-memory error at compile time for hardware accelerated code that initializes a large local array.

To workaround the problem, initialize the memory with the Nios® II processor and access it through pointers in the accelerator.
