Description
The Nios® II integrated development environment (IDE) and SOPC Builder included with the Quartus® II software version 7.2 are not supported on Windows Vista.
Resolution
The Quartus® II software version 7.2 readme.txt file incorrectly states that the Nios® II Embedded Design Suite is supported on Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit. Support for these tools on Windows Vista is planned for the next release of the software.
The readme_corrections.txt file lists the updated operating system support for the Quartus II software and the Nios II Embedded Design Suite.
