Description

There may be a time when you wish to change the HDL language option from Verilog to VHDL or vice versa after you have created an SOPC Builder system.

This can be done by editing the .sopc file instead of re-constructing the SOPC system once again from scratch.

In order to do that

  1. Open the .sopc file in a text editor
  2. Find the parameter named "hdlLanguage" and change it to the preferred language (VERILOG or VHDL)
  3. Save the file
  4. Open your system in SOPC Builder and re-generate it.
