Migrating to the Quartus Prime Pro Edition Software (OMIGQPRO)

34 Minutes Online Course

Course Description

The Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software is the newest member of the Quartus software product family. It's designed to take your advanced FPGA designs to the next level with the new Spectra-Q engine, a suite of added features including an advanced synthesis engine and the BluePrint Platform Designer tool. In most cases, migrating an existing Quartus II or Quartus Prime project to the Pro Edition is as simple as opening the older project in the new software. However, there are a number of things you may need to check to make sure the migration goes smoothly. This training discusses project assignments, Tcl scripts, and other items that may need updating, including regenerating IP cores and replacing LogicLock floorplan assignments with new LogicLock Plus regions.
