Description
This error message occurs in the Quartus® II software version 6.0 and later under the following conditions:
- You compile the design from a system command prompt
- The design includes a SignalTap® II logic analyzer
- No database (<project>\db) directory exists, or it exists but does not include the file sld_reserved_<project>_<SignalTap II name>_<trigger number>.v when you compile the design
Use one of the following suggestions to work around this problem:
- Before you compile the project at a system command prompt, open the Quartus II GUI, then open and save your project. This process recreates the missing file.
- Do not delete the file sld_reserved_<project>_<SignalTap II name>_<trigger number>.v when you delete files from the db directory.
This problem may be fixed in a future version of the Quartus II software.
