Description
When synthesizing your design in the Quartus® II software, you may see this warning message or similar messages regarding "rom.waddr_a" or "rom.we_a" when you have code in your design that inferring dual-port ROM. You may also observe that the RTL Viewer incorrectly displays the function as a RAM. However, Quartus II synthesis correctly implements the function as a ROM.
Resolution
These messages can be safely ignored if you expect a ROM to be inferred.
