ReflexArc™ is a heterogeneous GPU + FPGA acceleration platform designed for next-generation Physical AI, autonomous systems, and robotics applications. The architecture combines the high-level perception, reasoning, and planning capabilities of GPU-based AI systems with the deterministic, low-latency processing capabilities of FPGAs.
ReflexArc offloads time-critical functions from the GPU to the FPGA, including real-time sensor processing, data movement, hardware scheduling, safety monitoring, and deterministic control. This separation allows computationally intensive AI models such as Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models to operate alongside predictable real-time execution required by physical systems.
The platform is designed to support high-speed GPU-to-FPGA connectivity and a broad range of robotics interfaces, enabling integration with cameras, LiDAR, IMUs, motor controllers, and other real-time sensors and actuators. The architecture can be ad...

The platform is designed to support high-speed GPU-to-FPGA connectivity and a broad range of robotics interfaces, enabling integration with cameras, LiDAR, IMUs, motor controllers, and other real-time sensors and actuators. The architecture can be adapted for autonomous mobile robots, industrial robotics, humanoid robots, drones, machine vision, and other latency-sensitive edge AI applications.
LEVCOM is developing ReflexArc for Altera FPGA platforms and can provide reusable FPGA IP, hardware/software reference designs, system integration, application-specific customization, performance optimization, and proof-of-concept development. The solution can be tailored to customer requirements for latency, power, FPGA density, sensor connectivity, and AI workload.
Our goal is to enable a scalable Altera-based Physical AI ecosystem in which GPUs provide intelligence and FPGAs provide deterministic execution—bridging the gap between AI inference and real-world action.
