Users should upgrade to the latest version of the Quartus Prime Design Software. The selected version does not include the latest functional and security updates. If you must use this version of software, follow the technical recommendations to help improve security. For critical support requests, please contact our support team.

Quartus Prime Pro Edition Design Software, Version 20.4 subject to removal from the web when support for all devices in this release are available in a newer version, or all devices supported by this version are obsolete. If you would like to receive customer notifications by e-mail, please subscribe to our subscribe to our customer notification mailing list.

The Quartus Prime Pro Edition Software version 20.4 has been updated to build #72. The continued use of the first release, build #64, could cause inaccurate results. strongly recommends all customers that have the previous 20.4 build #64 update to this latest build. No support or patches will be available for build #64; you must install build #72 for any support or future patches. To determine which build you have installed, please open Quartus Prime Pro Edition Software and select Help -> About Quartus Prime.

Download and install instructions:
1. Download Quartus Prime software, and any other software products you want to install, into a temporary directory.
2. Download device support files into the same directory as the Quartus Prime software installation file.

3. Change the file permission for all the setup (.run) files by running the command: chmod +x *.run.
4. If you want to use add-on software, download the files from the Additional Software tab. Save the files to the same temporary directory as the Quartus Prime software installation file.
Run the .run file.
