The Saturn A52A SoM integrates Altera's Agilex™ 5 E-Series SoC FPGA (A5ED052AB32AE2V, Device Group A) with 523K logic elements, a quad-core Arm® hard processor system (dual Cortex®-A76 + dual Cortex®-A55), 8GB LPDDR4 (4GB shared with HPS + 2 × 2GB for FPGA), and 8GB eMMC. Two high-speed SEAM8 connectors expose 71 LVDS pairs, 245 LVCMOS I/Os, and 24 high-speed transceivers in a compact 75mm × 75mm form factor. On-board management provides power and temperature monitoring, automatic fan control, and fault shutdown.
Designed for embedded developers—even without deep FPGA expertise—the Saturn A52A SoM accelerates development of robotics, medical equipment, industrial communication and control, machine vision, smart cameras, and smart city solutions. Available in production-qualified commercial grade, it is built for volume edge deployment and long life cycle operation. A free Quartus® Prime Pro Edition license is included.
