Common Questions
Use GX when programmable logic and interfaces suffice without an integrated Arm HPS. Choose SX when the hard processor is needed.
Estimate data reuse and read/write demand, then size buffering and memory paths to keep processing stages supplied.
Count required lanes and reserve supported clocking and placement resources. Verify channel availability for the selected package and device.
Use a supported soft processor for flexible control tasks when a separate or hard processor is unnecessary. Account for fabric and memory cost.
Inspect DMA configuration, transfer sizes, host memory and buffering. A trained link alone does not prove high application throughput.
Ready to Order?
Ordering starts with a part number. Select a product in the table above to view its ordering part numbers (OPNs) — which encode density, speed grade, package, and options — then use that OPN to check availability and purchase through an authorized distributor. Refer to Parts Decoder to decode a OPN.
