Common Questions
Use FP16 when tested numerical accuracy and range are sufficient. Compare precision, resource use and throughput with the application's reference model.
Retiming can move registers to improve critical paths. Write retiming-friendly logic and constraints, then verify latency and functional behavior.
Match required rates, protocols and hard IP to the exact tile configuration and package. Verify development-board connectors and reference clocks
Use it when integrated software control or embedded processing reduces system complexity. Confirm the selected part includes the HPS.
Check pin assignments, reference clocks, reset sequence, memory settings and
board integrity using the device's EMIF debug flow.
Flexible DSP arithmetic and I/O can combine processing and video connectivity. Validate pixel throughput, buffering and interface latency.
