iWave’s Serial front Panel Data Port (sFPDP) IP Core is a robust, high-speed serial communication protocol designed to support point-to-point and loop configurations. Compliant with ANSI/VITA 17.1 standards, this IP core facilitates low-latency and real-time data transmission—making it ideal for mission-critical applications such as radar, signal intelligence (SIGINT), electronic warfare (EW), and other defense and aerospace systems.
Supporting data rates of up to 4.25 Gbps per lane and multiple configurations including Copy Mode, Loop Mode, and Flow Control Mode, the IP core enables high-performance data streaming over fiber or copper interfaces. It is designed to work seamlessly with leading FPGA platforms and supports both AXI and Avalon interfaces for easy integration. Additionally, it offers scalability across multiple links and includes support for channel bonding to increase throughput.
