Integrated Circuit (IC) has a long-life cycle before being packaged into the end-user product. The part of life cycle happening before circuit fabrication is called pre-silicon stage. Through the Virtualyzr tool Secure-IC present an innovative way to verify the security of the design at the pre-Silicon level. Such an early-stage verification of the security can be seen as new Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tool that allows to add a new layer of verification to the lifecycle of an embedded implementation before being packaged into a chip.
The Virtualyzr software tool is composed of two distinct licenses: one for Side Channel Analysis (SCA) and one for Fault Injection Analysis (FIA). Side-Channel Analysis (SCA) able to retrieve sensitive information from cryptographic implementations without tampering with the system, by exploiting unintentional physical leakage, such as the timing information, power
consumption or radiated electromagnetic field.
