The Comet A65 SOM integrates Altera’s largest Agilex™ 5 SoC FPGA with 656K logic elements, an HPS/ARM subsystem, three 4GB high-throughput LPDDR4 memories, and two high-speed SEAM8 connectors supporting 71 LVDS, 245 LVCMOS, and 24 transceivers. This design enables embedded system developers—even without FPGA expertise—to create advanced industrial solutions in areas such as medical equipment, robotics, industrial communication and control, machine vision, smart cameras, and smart city applications. Available in production-qualified and certified commercial grade, it is purpose-built for volume edge deployment and ruggedized for long life cycle operation.
