ARINC 818

The ARINC 818 IP Core is a robust, high-performance digital video transmission solution tailored for real-time display and sensor video systems in avionics and aerospace platforms.

ARINC 818 IP CORE

ARINC 818 (ADVB) is a high data rate video bus based on the ANSI Fiber Channel Audio-Video (FC-AV) protocol standards. Emphasizing cost reduction as well as speeding up the link initialization. ARINC 818 is a unidirectional interface that was developed for avionics systems, such as connecting mission processors to cockpit displays like HUDS, MFDs, PFDs, or HMDs. Used widely in Boeing 787 and the KC46A tanker, Airbus A350 and A400M, the COMAC C-919, the C-17, F15, F18 and various military aircrafts.

ARINC 818 Switch IP Core

The ARINC 818 Switch IP Core from iWave enables real-time switching of ARINC 818-2/3 video streams between multiple sources and destinations in avionics systems. Supporting dynamic configuration, unicast/multicast, and optical/copper interfaces, it simplifies integration of high-speed video networks in mission-critical environments.

ARINC 818-2 IP Core

iWave’s ARINC818-2 IP Core offers high-performance, real-time video transmission over high-speed serial interfaces in compliance with the ARINC 818-2 standard. Designed for aerospace systems, the IP core supports 4K resolution, robust error handling, and flexible integration with FPGA platforms.

ARINC 818-3 IP Core

iWave’s ARINC 818-3 IP Core offers a robust solution for high-speed digital video transmission in avionics systems, supporting up to 4K resolution. Designed for easy FPGA integration, the core ensures real-time performance and protocol compliance for mission-critical applications such as cockpit displays, radar imaging, and sensor systems.
