Users should keep their software up-to-date and follow the technical recommendations to help improve security. Additional security updates are planned and will be provided as they become available. Users should promptly install the latest version upon release.

Quartus Prime Pro Edition Design Software, Version 26.1 is subject to removal from the web when support for all devices in this release are available in a newer version, or all devices supported by this version are obsolete.

If you are using floating license server for FPGA software, you need to upgrade to the latest license daemon software (v11.19.6.0). FPGA software, Version 26.1, doesn’t work with old version of daemon software. You can download the daemon software from this link

Download and install instructions:
- For GUI mode installation:
1a. Run the .exe file. It automatically extracts the files to your TEMP directory and launches the installer.
- For command line mode installation:
1b. Run the .exe file with -sp"--target <path>" option to extract the files to the <path> location. For example: qinst-windows-<ver>.exe -sp"--target c:\quartus_installer".
1c. Run the qinst_cli.bat --cli command, run the command with --help to view the help manual.

2. Download device support files into the same directory as the Quartus Prime software installation file.

3. If you want to use add-on software, download the files from the Additional Software tab. Save the files to the same temporary directory as the Quartus Prime software installation file.
4. Run the .exe file.

1. Download the .run file
2.Change the file permission for the .run file by running the command: chmod +x *.run
- For GUI mode installation:

3b. Run the .run file with command-line option --target <path> --noexec, which extracts the files to <path> location. Run qinst.sh with --cli option. Run the command with --help to see the help manual.
