Designed to conform with Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) standards, the 3U-VPX plug-in module provides extensive memory and storage, including 8 GB DDR4 ECC for both HPS and FPGA, dual 144 Mb QDR-IV for high-speed buffering, expandable 32 GB eMMC, and 1 Gb QSPI flash, along with onboard EEPROM for configuration retention.

The module also includes multiple SDI IN/OUT paths through coaxial connectors and up to eight fiber optic transceiver links delivering up to 28.125 Gbps via Firefly connectors, providing versatile high-speed I/O for modern defense systems. Built in the standard 3U-VPX form factor (160 mm × 100 mm), the solution incorporates advanced system management features including a VITA 46.11 Tier-3 compliant board management controller, temperature sensing, clock synthesizers, elapsed time counter, and voltage monitoring for rugged embedded deployments."
