The SHA3-IP core is a highly efficient, pure-hardware hash engine that implements all six algorithms defined in the FIPS PUB 202 standard (SHA3-224, SHA3-256, SHA3-384, SHA3-512, SHAKE128, and SHAKE256) within a single integrated core. It provides ultra-high throughput exceeding 17.5 Gbps and allows dynamic algorithm selection at runtime. It is ideal for accelerating secure communications, data integrity, and authentication applications on Altera FPGAs without CPU overhead.
