Agilex™ 9 R31D Mid-band Direct RF SoM: iG-G78M

The iG-G78M Agilex™ 9 R31D Mid-Band Direct RF System on Module is a high-performance RF processing platform based on the Agilex™ 9 Direct RF SoC FPGA. Designed for advanced aerospace, defense, and communications applications, the SoM integrates high-speed direct RF ADCs and DACs for real-time signal acquisition and generation, reducing the need for external RF conversion stages. The module features dedicated DDR4 memory for both FPGA and HPS, onboard non-volatile storage, and high-speed transceivers supporting up to 58Gbps. Its compact form factor 82 X 110 mm (BRYNc) enables deployment in size, weight, and power (SWaP)-optimized systems for radar, electronic warfare, software-defined radio, satellite communications, spectrum monitoring, and test & measurement applications.

AGSTU Sierra™ is a hardware-implemented real-time kernel and RTOS accelerator for FPGA-based embedded systems. It delivers deterministic ultra-low latency performance, fast interrupt handling, and hardware-based task scheduling with minimal software overhead. Sierra can operate as either a stand-alone real-time kernel or an accelerator for traditional RTOS solutions. The solution is delivered as a portable FPGA IP core with lightweight C API, integrated logging, and a regression test framework for efficient HW/SW validation and system integration.
