Aramas is a hardware acceleration company building, the Agent eXecution Unit (AXU) — an Altera Agilex 7 FPGA-based PCIe accelerator purpose-built for agentic AI workloads. AXU offloads the context plane memory retrieval, KV-cache management, context assembly, tool routing, scheduling, and multi-tenant security from the GPU. This frees inference and agent compute enabling thousands of concurrent agents per chip with sub-100µs context switching.
